简介:
Mouse anti-FOB antibody
Hemoglobin (Hb) is the most studied of the heme containing globulin proteins and yet is not fully understood. It was one of the first proteins to be studied by X-ray crystallography, and earned Max Perutz the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1962. The structural studies provided a plethora of data that offered glimpses of the magnificent molecular mechanisms behind Hb physiological functions. Hemoglobin is a polyfunctional molecule that is involved in several functions, such as catalytic (nitrite reductase, NO dioxygenase, monooxygenase, alkylhydroperoxidase, esterase, lipoxygenase); nitric oxide metabolism; metabolic reprogramming; pH regulation and maintaining redox balance
